I replaced two of these switches in less than a half hour. As far as household repairs go this was fairly easy. The only slight difficulty was getting the short screws that hold the switch to line up with the holes. I ended up using an awl to line up the holes. As far as wiring I had both the second switch and a picture I took with my phone.After I got the stove back in place both burners turned on and off to regulate the temperature. I haven't cooked anything but I at least know it functions.I was going to replace the stove but Lowe's didn't deliver the new stove on the day it was due. I had already removed the stove and took the cord off. I decided to cancel and repair this stove. Lowe's was going to charge me $50 to haul this stove away. For that same price I was able to repair this one

Seems to work fine. I bought 2. Only difference so far is that you don't have to push knob in to turn from the off position but there is definite click feel when turning off or on
